Complete Amar Chitra Katha and Tinkle Cover Pages
ACK and Tinkle have something special apart from their brilliant stories and their cool artwork inside.Their front covers; .The front covers are a special attraction and are usually illustrated by an artist who does not draw the inside pages.I am not sure why that was the case,but front covers usually require more imagination to attract the user in one shot.
Following are the ACK Covers of the original edition from Edition no 11 Krishna to Edition no 436 Jawaharlal Nehru.

Nice collection. Where do you find time for these ?? Were these taken from the collection you have ?
It was time consuming indeed.Some are my own scans ,but for many I had to write a script to crawl the images from several sites on the net and then actually tag them with their correct numbering.As for the question of finding time... lets just say nothing better to do at the moment:)

Thanks for your response. I understand about your concern on the copyright. The best you could do is put a watermark containing your name / logo on each page of the book that you scan. That way people who download old collections from your site will not be able to violate your copyright. After all many are interested in collecting and reading the old issues rather than selling them...what do you say?
The copyright violation would be that of ACK comics which are still in publication are copyrighted by the ACK company.I do not hold any copyright,so watermarking etc is not the case here.If I post it then I would be breaking their copyright .

It is very disappointing to note that huge fans of Tinkle and Amar Chitra Katha would miss a very great collection from you. I do understand about the copyright. However as long as you are not reprinting the old issues of your collection you will not be breaking the copyright. There are lots of blogs and sites on the internet from where we can find old issues of lots of books. Those are all contributions from the readers who own them so that it will be helpful for the society. For Ex: visit the following blog. I hope you will definitely praise the effort of the little girl Parishi...

Unfortunately those sources are missing few important copies which you have in your collection.
So, neither the society nor the ACK / Tinkle would feel that you would violate the copyright if you share your collection on your blog. On behalf of the entire society I kindly request you to put your rare vintage collection online so that many humble readers like me will get a chance to go back to the old childhood days.....
